Samsung yang sudah mengeluarkan Galaxy S dengan layar AMOLED dan dengan OS Android 2.1. Kali ini Samsung kembali mengeluarkan saudara kembarnya yang bertajuk Samsung Galaxy SL dengan embel-embel huruf "L", tak mengerti kenapa vendor asal Korea ini menambahkan itu. Yang jelas ponsel ini di jejal dengan layar Super Clear LCD. Sedangkan semu fiturnya sama keculi, ketebalan ponsel ini bertambah yang dari 9.9mmm menjadi 10.6mm.

Nokia merilis ponsel barunya. Hal ini menambah daftar ponsel Express Musicnya. X2-01 itu julukannya uintuk ponsel berdesain bogel dengan 37 keypad QWERTY ala Nokia. Dengan tampilan khas Symbian S40 dan dengan fitur multimedia yang dimilikinya, seperti kamera bekualitas VGA, musik player, video recording, serta FM radio. Sayangnya ponsel ini tidak disematkan WLAN untuk berselancar di dunia maya secara gratis.

Charger semua ponsel pada tahun 2011 ini akan diseragamkan. Semua ponsel termasuk ponsel di Eropa sudah menggunakan Micro USB untuk semua ponsel. Seperti, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motolora, LG, Samsung, Huawei, dan Alcatel, akan meenggunakan Micro USB sebagai charger dan sebagai kabel data. Hanya dengan satu slot Micro USB semuanya dapat dilakukan. Seperti halnya Micro USB yang akan diseragamkan, Jack output untuk hans-free juga akan menjadi universal yaitu 3.5 mm.
