Tiga buah ponsel Galaxy yaitu, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Fit, dan Galaxy Mini yang berbasis Android sudah dirilis vendor Samsung. Kali ini Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660 keluar dengan OS Android 2.2 Froyo dan dibekali otak berkecepatan 800 MHz. Untuk memuaskan pengguna, Gio memiliki layar sentuh bersensor capacitive dengan kedalaman 16 juta warna. Seperti ketiga saudaranya ponsel ini disuntikan pula TouchWiz UI 3.0. Galaxy Gio dibekali kamera berkekuatan 3.2 megapiksel, yang dapat mengabadikan foto dengan apik.
